Privacy Policy

Summary
Fledgebook is built to work entirely on your device. This policy is short because there isn't much to disclose. Fledgebook has no account system, no backend server, and no analytics, telemetry, or advertising SDK of any kind. We do not collect your name, email address, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or location.
What Fledgebook Stores, and Where
Everything you enter — children's names and information, IEP/504 plan details, goals, observations, services, deadlines, accommodations, communications, questions, routines, and any photos you add — is stored only in the app's local database and file storage on your device. We never see it, because there is no server for it to travel to.

Optional Cloud Backup
If you use Cross-Device Backup (a Pro feature), Fledgebook writes a single backup file to your own iCloud Drive (iOS) or hands it to your own Google Drive via the share sheet (Android). That file goes directly between your device and your own cloud storage account — Fledgebook's developer has no access to it, no copy of it, and no way to read it. Backup only happens when you tap "Back Up Now"; it never runs automatically or in the background.
Camera
Fledgebook asks for camera access only when you choose to take a photo for a routine step card or a child's profile picture. Photos you take stay on your device (or in your own backup, per above) and are never uploaded anywhere by the app.
In-App Purchases
Subscribing to or purchasing Fledgebook Pro is handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. Fledgebook receives only a purchase/entitlement status from the platform's own store APIs (StoreKit on iOS, Play Billing on Android) — no payment information ever reaches Fledgebook or its developer.
Notifications
Deadline and routine reminders are scheduled entirely on your device using your operating system's local notification system. No notification content or scheduling data leaves your device.
What Fledgebook Does Not Do
- No account or sign-in is required or offered.
- No analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking of any kind.
- No advertising SDKs, and no ads are shown.
- No device identifiers or advertising identifiers are collected.
- No data is sold or shared with third parties, because no data is collected from you in the first place.
- No cloud backend operated by the developer exists to store, process, or have access to your data.
Children's Privacy
Fledgebook is a tool for a parent or guardian to organize their own child's educational and routine information; it is not directed at children as its primary audience, and no data about a child is transmitted anywhere by the app (see "What Fledgebook Stores," above). A child may use the app's Kid Mode feature under a parent's setup and supervision to follow a picture-based routine; this involves no data collection beyond what's described above.
Deleting Your Data
Settings → Delete All My Data removes everything immediately and entirely on your device, along with your cloud backup copy if Cross-Device Backup was ever used. Because nothing is stored anywhere else, there is no server-side copy to separately request deletion of. This does not affect a previously purchased Fledgebook Pro entitlement, which is tracked by Apple/Google, not by Fledgebook — Restore Purchases re-applies it if needed.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new "Last updated" date.
